| Victoria County Historical Society |
The Victoria County Historical Society was established as an umbrella organization to oversee the collection of local history from 1900-2001 in the interested communities of Victoria County. The intent was to create a digital heritage web collection/portal page to publish and preserve this heritage and make it available to all interested parties online. There is presently much information available in hard copy. Various volunteer historical associations hold these, and are organizing them in various ways for hard cover and electronic publications. The software and peripberal equipment needed to produce a worthwhile web page is being acquired. Application for assistance to the project is being sought from available funding partners.
