The Margaree Salmon Museum promote the conservation of salmon in the Margaree River and its tributaries. Exhibits relate to salmon angling from early years to the present time, old fashioned rods, photos of famous fishermen, largest salmon (52+ lbs) angled in the river, an aquarium with smolt and trout, books relating to the art of angling written by well-known professional fishermen, maps, charts, samples of flies, poaching equipment from 1800 to present day, paintings by famous artists who frequented the area over the years, and life stories of dedicated fisherfolks who made their contribution.
