| Cape Breton Centre For Heritage And Science |
A year-round museum that focuses on the social and natural histories of Cape Breton County through exhibitions (both in-house and traveling) and public programming. Lectures, demonstrations, and 'hands-on' activities are featured. A discovery corner, museum shop and reading area are also featured. Monthly meetings of the Old Sydney Society and the Cape Breton Naturalists Society are held at the Centre. The Centre also operates Cossit House Museum for the Nova Scotia Museum.
