| Sydney Steel Plant Museum |
The Sydney Steel Plant Museum is a virtual museum commemorating steel-making activities on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Sydney Steel played a significant part in shaping the local community and its people. Click on the Education tab and step back to 1968 to take on the role of a reporter and design and write a two page spread consisting of three articles on the Plant!! Although no longer in operation, Sydney Steel lives on through stories and songs about steelworkers from Cape Breton and others from diverse cultures who came to the Island for work.
